Description
Rough, rugged concrete shapes firmly anchored in a weathered concrete base celebrate the rough, rugged life of America's farm families. The barn, farmhouse, and silo are made from white-pigmented mortar and the solid base is brown-pigmented mortar, dinged and scraped to reflect the rustic beauty of old farmsteads. Approximate dimensions: 3 x 2.25 x 3.75 inches The piece has a weighty, substantial feel... like it should. Put it on a shelf, windowsill, desk, or anywhere you want to be reminded of the people and places that feed our country. Mortar/concrete has natural bubbles, indentations, and other beautiful imperfections from the curing process that gives each piece it's singular personality. This one has also been intentionally weathered. Nothing mass produced here: I create every item individually in my Colorado workshop! Note: Materials used in this artwork can break and be ingested. It's not intended for young children.
